98 gsr motor into 97 ek - cel 10, 20
just what the topic says. the car starts but dies right away. we can hold the throttle but once we let go, the car dies. it's like its not getting fuel. everything seems to be plugged in right. if you have any idea what it is (ie. switched plugs around or anything) please let me know. maybe you had the same situation, any information is greatly appreciated. thanks.

i know 10 is the IAT and 20 is the Electrical Load Detector, but we just couldnt figure it out.

Do you have a different IAT you could swap in there? Check between the two connections on the IAT plug and make sure you get 5 volts.

ill have to see later, there is probably one on my gsr harness. any other possibilities on why it just starts and shuts right off?

we were holding the throttle, its fine when holding but once you let go, the car shuts off. someone was telling me it might be my timing.
