98 civic/ H22a, egr code,low power, need advice
98 civic,
H22a
Full Dc sport exhaust, cai,msd ignition
Ecu is a p13
I was getting a code 23 and got that fixed,
now I am getting code 12 for egr.
The car does not have power like it should have.
When starting cold the idle will hover around 1800, once warmed up a bit it will surge.
When fully warmed up it will idle low.
Power is weak, it'll go but if you get on it it acts like it is in limp mode.
The only cel I get now is 12.
Should I get a p28 chipped for the H22a and will this solve most if not all the issues?

I just picked up a virgin P28 Friday, need to get it chipped and base mapped yet.
But I did get it running a lot better.
Cleaned IACV, cleaned and adjusted FITV and reset base idle.
The cars runs MUCH smoother with a lot better idle and a lot more power.
