Default 96 EX coupe with b18c

What I was wondering could we keep our resonator if we swapped out the D series for the B18c swap? cause I like that deepness the resonator has when push down on the gas.

Does the B swap come with the factory Intake resonator or can we just keep the one from the D series and do the swap that way?

Your using a GSR right? just use a CAI that will be really deep Especially when the secondaries open up and you just hear a GROWL fro mteh fender. USE a CAI. stock piece is restrictive

Yeah, just buy an AEM CAI. No need to stick with the stock intake.

well yeah, but like everybody knows that bottom pipe that's connected to the air box, well if I kept that pipe and just ran a short ram, it would be just as good tho...right?

Why? The resonator isnt going to do anythign for you. except take up room and weight in your fender. and its tiny. there are reasons they have you remove them for an intake install.

Jsut go to Ebay there like 40 bucks shipped get you a CAI and get teh loud noise you want. Otherwise you wont be loud and roar with a Short ram.

SO cliffnotes

Short ram = lots of sucking noise minimual roar. Still not using stock airbox
CAI = Deep Roar wehn in VTEc and louder when Secondary Buterflies open.

If your already sold then why you asking. do it try it if your happy stay with it.
All I am saying is GSRs are loud with CAI. The GSR has 3 sounds

1 - WOT NON VTEC/ Agresive oloud sucking
2 - WOT VTEC/ VEr y Agressive sounds. You can hear that baby and its DEEP
3 - Secondary Buterflies WOT/ NOW you are dealing with the loudest sucking sensation you hafve heard

And what make it deep is thefact its in your fender
