hey guys i have a 96 hatch that was automatic. i converted it 5spd and ran it on the auto ecu (p2e) for the longest no issues ran perfect. i just recently did a swap (b20b) and it runs perfect strong with the auto p2e but when i plug in a 5speed ecu it runs like crap it wont rev up and if it does u have to keep feathering the throttle and it backfires. the swap is not the issue it was running perfect from the car i got it from and it runs perfect with the auto p2e i tried a obd2a p75 and a obd1 p28(not chiped) and i get the same issue. i rewired the iac correctly and i put a 5 speed harness on it every thing seems right just with the 5speed ecu it acts up. What can this be???? im frustrated

First off, use the correct ECU. That's the OBD2A P75. When using the correct ECU, what CELs are present?

The P2E won't work properly, and may damage your engine. It's set up for 170cc/min injectors, while almost every other Civic/Integra uses 240cc/min injectors.

Thats the thing the automatic p2e is the only ecu that will run the car great any 5 speed ecu will run like crap its almost undrivable. So i took it to advance on the p2e and switched over to the p75 and got the codes read wit an obd2 scanner and the only code was p0113 for the iat

You'll need to do the 3 to 2 wire IACV conversion. Not sure how you have the IAT wired but the B20 uses one in the intake manifold and your car had it in the intake arm itself. Are you using either one? The rest should have been plug and play.

i baught a 5 speed harness and i am running a 2 wire iacv and i repined it at the ecu plug and still the same issue. would it be that the car used to be auto and the dash harness is effecting the 5 speed ecus ??

can me running y7 injectors that are 190cc be the issue since the p2e is the only ecu for the 190 cc injectors?? please help

Junk the 190's with the P75 ECU or at all for that matter.

Yeah im gona try it today or tomorow idk when i have time but i really hope changing the injecotrs help cuz im stomped on my issue i can find no one else in forums or on google wit the same issue

Way too lean it wouldnt idle or rev and it was backfiring threw the intake cuz it was too lean found some ls injectors and wala
