93 civic lx b18a swap
alright couple of q's
just bought a 93 lx civic to replace my gf recently totaled 92 teg gs both are autos
what do i need from the teg to go into the civic (motor,trans,axles,ecu,ect..)
on the trans for the teg got a cable driven speedo civics got a sensor (how do i get around that?) it has to stay an auto..
brakes: want to put the teg brakes on the civic (can it be done?)
any other ideas would be cool to

I knew someone who did the same type of swap (OBD 0-->OBD I) and man..is it a freakin hassle. The harness plugs are different and he had to buy the "hydraulic-to-cable" conversion kit to make the tranny work properly. Good luck.

both cars are obd1 and auto biggest prob i have is the teg has a cable drivin speedo
and the civic has a sensor if i have to I'll get a 94 up teg auto trans(but don't know if the gearing is different so the speedo reads right)

Dayem...you do have a point there. You might be better off just getting a hydraulic tranny so it would be less complicated. I have noticed that there are quite a few auto trannys on eBay.

i'm puttin a b18a into my 93 ex as for teh wiring find a 94-95 intgera distributor and and take all the plugs from ur stock manifold and throttle body and drill and tap um into thr integras and as for ur speedo just swap the two over hope i helped
