my 91 acura integra has a fresh 97 jdm b18c type r vtec with a jg elderbroke intake. i had it running last saturday. the engine ran awesome then after 77miles it went into limp mode? so i changed the tps and map sensor. now its wont idle or run unless i keep on constantly keep on pumping the throttle a little bit at a time. and if i pin the throttle the engine will just die. i check the timing and changed the fuel filter the pressure stays around 50 psi. it has a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. help please

i believe we're having the same issue...so i'm interested in the answer as well...

spec:

chassis: 1996 Civic CX OBD2A
engine: JDM 1998 B18C Type R OBD2A
ECU: JDM p73 (which is why i am on honda-tech instead of staring at a obd-scanner)
wire harness (if it matters): 1998 civic SOHC vtec

I don't think a test-pipe and a shortram will contribute to the problem, but i am rocking those two mods right now.

problem: my car is in limp mode...it will not go over 6600 rpm, vtec does not engage, and I have trouble starting the car when cold. It idles at like 100 rpm and as soon as I step on the gas it dies out. I have to let the motor run for a bit before I can drive it.

I've looked on google searched on H-T all with similar problems with solutions, yet the solutions don't solve my problem. :\

It would be great if i can get some help here as well too :D
