Default 90-93 accord intermediate shaft

Why can't I find an accord 5 speed intermediate shaft on any car parts web site. Is it called something else. I looked on carparts.com and a few other similair web sites.

Good lord... I just checked on our discount with a local Honda dealer here for a complete, brand new 90-93 Accord 5-spd intermediate shaft.... $155

Usually you can find them in junkyards for $50-$100 (usually around the $70 from what I've seen & found). http://www.HAPrecycling.com/ I've been there a few times to get some misc parts. Last time I checked, they wanted $70-$75 for an Accord mid shaft.

A lot of the guys who run junk yards and such are older guys, and they call it a jackshaft, or a halfshaft. When I was looking for one, that's what they always called it. Check Autozone to, I think a new one there was only like $80 w/a lifetime warranty.

Autos run a long driver's side axle without an intermediate shaft....

On a similar subject, are the 92-96 preludes inter. shafts the same as the 90-93 Accords?

I just want to make sure about something
in a H22A DC2/EG swap

I will need a 90-93 Accord left side axle intermediate shaft with a 90-93' Integra left axle
Can I just use both 90-93' Integra driveshafts.

So basically when using the Accord left axle with DA left axle
I will be using a right Prelude driveshaft.
is that correct?

And if dont use the prelude driveshaft
I will need DA driveshaft on both side.

No, but thats what DSS's are for. 90-93 accord midshafts and teg axles are the cheap escape.

Can I use the accord inner and teg axles in an accord tranny for an H22aEG swap?
hey thats kind of a tongue twister
