4th gen B18 probs.
I got my b18a in my 4dr, and it starts, but instantly revs to 3000rpm. I replaced all the vaccuum lines, hoping those were the culprit. Still didnt work. Is the EACV stuck open maybe? I pulled the motor out of the original car, after I DROVE it to my house, so everything in reguards to the engine should be perfect.
One more thing....Im CEL codes. I get one long blink, and then 3 short blinks. I know on OBD cars, the long blinks stand for "10". Ive never heard of a long blink on non-obd cars. Does this mean its throwing a code 4 then? Hopefully somebody can help here. Oh ya, auto to manual conversions SUCK

Not sure about your idle problem.
1 long + 3 short = Code 13 = Atmospheric Sensor, which is inside the ECU. I had that code to for a awhile but I cut a few of the "excess" wires that the 'teg ECU didn't need.

That HF -> Si conversion fixed my code 13. Check the wires you have versus the wires they ask you to cut and see if anything matches. I think it was the EGR circuit that was messing with mine....

Im not sure if Im retarded, or you gave me a wrong link, but I couldnt find any info on which wires to cut or compare. You sound like you are onto something, because Hybrid Honda sucks *** for this tech stuff...
