Default how to read ecu codes?

i looked online and have the codes in front of me, but the paper i got the codes from just says, "count the flashes to determine the code", but i have 4 long blinks and 3 short ones. is each blink the same ie 7 blinks or are they weighted differently for pauses? thanks

Four long blinks is a 4 and three long blinks is 3.

Your code is a 43.
