Default 4TH GEN WITH B16 SIR I RUNNING RICH????

I HAVE A 91 CIVIC DX AND I SWAPED A 91 B16 SIR1 MY ONLY PROBLEM IS
THE MOTOR IS RUNNING VERY RICH AND IDELING AT 2000 RPM. ANY BODY
HAVE AN IDEA?????

yea, first stop posting in all caps

second, you probably have a HUGE vacuum leak. also, how do you know you are running rich?

sorry about the caps key board is broke.
i no its running rich because you can smeel it
alos lots of black smoke....

well first fix the idle, then move onto the fuel problem. i have a feeling the 2 are related.

i tried adjusting the idel with the idel screw
on the throtle boby but it only adjust so far any idea on what to try.

leave the screw alone, the idle is controlled by the computer and the idle air control valve.

may be i have a bad idle air control vavle..
thats the one on the back of the intake manifold right

well i just bought the motor from steve at h motors may be i should give him a call. anything else to look for

told you, sounds like a huge vacuum leak. you probably have something disconnected. check the brake booster line.
