2012 Si trans onto k24a2
Does anyone know if the newer transmission out of the Si would bolt up to a k24a2? If so what would be required to mount said transmission into a DC5? I searched around and couldn't really find anything. I can get this transmission for a really good price but I have no way of knowing wether or not it works. The old rsx base tranny is going out on me

The transmission will bolt up to a K24A2 engine... however, the transmission mount is different, the cables are not compatible and the vehicle speed sensor will need a conversion device if your DC5 is of the '02-04 variety. '05-06 RSX's do not suffer from this last issue.

How strong is the 2012 Si transmission compared to the Ep3/RSX transmission? I'm going to be boosted soon, and I'm shooting for ~450whp or so. At this power range I obviously just expect transmission problems especially since I'm using the k24 but I'm curious to know if there's any difference in strength between the two that would make custom fabbing or swapping out the internals worthwhile.
