07 and up civic si trans
just wondering if anyone has put an 07 and up civic si trans in a 02 rsx type s if so is there anything required part wise. so far i have the trans and the k tuned adjustable speed converter.

thank you but i saw that thread im just wondering if i extend the wiring from the rsx harness long enough to the speed sensor on the si trans would it work.

No they are completely different VSS sensors... your 02-04 is a gear driven VSS... The 07si uses the same magnetic VSS the 05-06 RSX uses.

ok so i installed the 06 and civic si trans. all i had to is install the k tuned speedo converter and swap the shifter mechanism off the 02 rsx and put it on the si trans. only 2 bolt holes line up the other 2 i had to drill and tap. it was a very simple trans swap

i wasnt able to find a write up other the swaping the the speed ring gear in the trans and drill the clutch side case to bolt in the orginal 02 rsx speed sensor. oh well its done now and works great. hopefully when the customer drives it he will like it
