1st Gen Integra with B-Series Swap
I was thinking about picking up a 1st Gen Integra as a beater, and was wondering if there were any links, info, or personal experience with B-Series swaps. I know I need to check out Hasport and I believe SCC had some articles but any info would be great- Thanks!

haven't seen any links but its shouldn't be too hard longest the motor is in the car. 88-9 cars are much easier as they are simliar/identical to 88-91 civic platfrom as far as wiring/electronics.
otherwise, get the hasport kit. slap it in and add 5 wires and be done.

Check out hybridgarage.com. And remember this, there is no replacement for displacement. Whatever you do, don't swap a puny B16 in that teg. You will already have a 1.8 over the little 1.6 torquless wonder. Sure you'll have vtec but that missing power can be made by some cams, cam gears and I/H/E. This is just my opinion. It's your money. If the B16 is in your price range and that's what you want to do then go for it.
If you decide to do that, then get some wild cams, cam gears, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, chipped P28, I/H/E, and that should satisfy you IMO.
Good luck on your beater.
