Default 1st gen B18A w/ B20 Head

I am about to get a 1st Gen (91)B18. I would like to use a B20 Head on it. They should be the same. They are essentially the same thing. What do you guys think?

Yes, structurally they are the same head. I am not sure about sensor location and whether the cams are different or not.

I am not really worried about the cams. This is gonna end up being a turbo motor.

Should bolt right on, although of course you might have to swtich the intake manifold and distributor.

They are essentially the same head except the b20 head ('least mine did) has bigger intake ports. I think that 1/8" vertically is a significant structural difference. If you use the b18a intake mani tho, then you will jsut cancell out the benefits the (ie. the runners are small like the b18a ports).

Dont' know forsure about the cams tho, most say the b20 intake cam is more aggressive, i say it would be silly if it wasn't.
