14400-PT2-004 Timing Belt for what engine??
Couldn't really figure out what forum would be best for this...
A friend and I ordered a whole bunch of parts from hondaautomotiveparts.org and I was working on putting my b17a together this evening, about to put on the timing belt and then noticed a strange part number written on the belt.
The timing belt I have reads 14400-PT2-004, and I of course ordered a 14400-PR3-004 (my friend also ordered a 14400-PR4-004 for his engine, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him so he can check the p/n on whatever belt is in his box of parts.
I've never seen "PT2" before. I entered the part number on acuraautomotiveparts.org and hondaautmotiveparts.com both sites return no results for that p/n. I also did a google search with limited results. But it does sound like maybe this is a belt for the older prelude "B" motors?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!

I show that belt as being one for a 2.2l prelude.

Well, lengths look the same. I counted teeth and that was the same (assuming I counted correctly). I installed the belt and it seems to fit just like the stock one would... I'm hoping everything will be OK.
