Default 02 sensor problem on B16a

Does anyone know how many wires(4 or 2) the o2 sensor is meant to have on a B16a? Just swapped a B16 into my civic which used to have a ZC engine. the check light is on and the problem is the o2 sensor.

it doesnt depend on the motor, it depends on the chassis being used ... which you didnt mention

The motor is a 1997 B16a. The chasis is an EG hatchback

use the 4 wire sensor which mounts on the collector. Since you have an EG then you dont need the rear o2 that mounts after the cat.

The car as standard has a one wire sensor, will a four wire fit into the wiring plug?

yes, when using the 92+ dohc engine harness it will have a 4 wire o2 plug for the o2

We're used the car's original ZC harness as it was obd1. Will this work as the original o2 sensor is just a one wire??
