I just did the swap and used 90-93 integra axles. But at 25mph im getting a real bad vibration. Could anyone help me???

CHECK TO SEE IF THE AXLES ARE HITTING THE BOTTOM OF THE STRUT WHERE IT BOLTS ON TO THE SPINDLE .. CHECK ALL BOLTS AND SCREWS TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE TIGHT .. BUT EVERYTHING IS RIGHT ON MINE AND IT VIBRATES AFTER 35MPH JUS NOT BAD LIKE IF IT WAS GONNA FALL OFF JUST A LIL VIBRATING. FASTER I GO MORE VIBRATION.

Not sure what side! I have a eg. I swapped out the passenger axle with an 89 integra axle. Went away a lil but still doing it! I picked up a 90-93 accord halfshaft and gonna try it out! Im sick of this crap. Out of all the swaps i've done over the years i have never had this prob. Anyways car is for sale or trade for a b-series swap. using the HCP mounts

Hey, I've been having problems with my 92 hatch h22 swap lately. I've been having axle problems on the passenger side. It keeps popping out. I've tried to switch the inner cv joints from a 92 prelude shaft onto the 90-93 teg shaft but i couldn't get the joint to fit on there, the holes were too small for the swivel things on the 90-93 shaft. I've tried expanding the ring also, it worked for about a month, now it popped out again... this the second time i had to get my car towed home across the river, and this time it made me miss my first day of school... any specific reviews on a custom axle i should choose?

i got my axles through hasport and im using my 99 prelude halfshaft and i have not came across that problem. hit it with rubber hammer if ur not doing so cuz the only reason i seen them pop out is because theres no bolt on the bottom of the spindle to hold in place.

Well i swapped out the halfshaft from a 90 accord and it's still shaking! The passenger side axle popped out!!! Im really really done with the car. If anyone wants it come get it. I was asking $6000 obo but i'll take $4500 for it!

any way to tell the difference between accord shift cables and prelude cables? im having a hell of a time finding cables to fit the shift box i have.

Ok...i have good news!! Turns out that pilot hole on the passenger side trans mount that everyone says to use put the whole motor and trans to low on that side! I loosen the drivers side mount, removed all the bolts from the rear T-bracket, and removed the bolt from the trans mount! Lowered the motor on the trans side enough so that i could drill a new hole. I drilled about and 1/8 of an inch back and up, bolted up everything back up, car drives perfect now!!! No vibration nothing! Also put back in the 90-93 pass integra axle! Thanks for the advice guys!!! Now i just have to figure out how to re-install the drivers headlight lol.

Im guessing the headlight knocks the alternator belt?

If so grab a lower alternator bracket from explicitspeed

or....

make one yourself

Anyone know of an axle shorter than the 86-89 integra passenger axle. I get binding when i hit dips and when i make a hard left. Its a terrible feeling at 65-70 mph lol. Its bad when i have someone in the car with me. Just binds and binds and binds. I lifted the car up like a 1/4 of an inch and it helped. I don't want to go any higher. I might try the prelude inner cup since apparently its deeper and gives the axle more play?

hey guys im in middle of h22a1 swap into 94 dx civic, i i was looking around into motor harness and a lot of ppl buy ones that are premade or send theirs out, does anyone have write up of hacking preludes and civics harnesses?? if so pls pm me or give me a link, also i just found out that civic harness that my friend got me is an auto...pls help so i can get the car out of garage

Can i throw out my problem as well? My car bogs out at about 120mph. I am running the stock p13 ecu. It pulls really fine until about those speeds then gives me one pop (not backfire) then retards the motor. Is this something the ecu does? i have no cel lights.

it may be the ecu never ran into that problem .. try using another ecu to see if it does it..

i took my car to get dyno'd yesterday and the shop guy mentioned he thinks its something in the stock ecu as well. He suggested to go to another obd 1 vtec honda ecu. Guess that is what im going to be doing next. was impressed with the numbers. Ran 215 hp and 188 ft lbs.

Im putting a h22 in an ek sedan. What would be the best transmission to go with for daily driving? f series or h series? and which one?

nice numbers for it not running right. get a chipped p30 or chipped p28 to p13 maps

i would go with the h-series trans but i have heard the f-series one is better. dont know y they say that but personally i like the h better. i have the h trans in my sol and runs like a beast
