ok just a pointless question but i want to know.... when does vtec hit in the 05' s2k i know it hits at 6000rpm in the 00'-04'

The 2005 is the same as the 2004...both AP2's with the same everything, including redline and VTEC engagement rpm.

 

but the 05' 06' redline at 8000 given its a bigger engine than the f20which redlines at 9000

 

04's came with the F22 also

...the AP2 began in 2004, not 2005. Both have a 6,000rpm vtec engagement point.

For future reference...

AP1 = 2000-2003
AP2 = 2004+

The AP2's VTEC engages at 5800-6000 depends on how hard you're beating on it. The only difference between an 04 and 05 model is that the 05 comes with pigtails for headrest speakers already set up under the seats.
