what are the specs on the s2000 motor? how big (cubic inches) is the engine bay?

Are you going to smuggle things in there?

Don't put any other engine in the s2000. There are better platforms for that. It will ruin the balance.

i was told i should put a s2000 motor in my car.. and i thought that it was a long block so i know it wouldnt fit in a 92 civic Si i just wanted to show the guy i wasnt giving him ****

might as well put a ls/lt 1 because all the mounts, ***** will be custom/chop.
wouldn't justisfy the cost for low and behold 153 peak torque.

if it's anything remotely close to a b series swap, the s will be the most stolen honda ever~!

i recall someone put a f20c in a civic for a car show, the car was not operational

i never stated at all that i was considering this swap... i just wanted specs to prove to him that the motor wouldnt even fit in my car i already addressed the FWD to RWD. im not looking at doing any crazy **** like the show on speed where they put a 2JZ-GTE in a turcel

It can be done. It could fit with a lot of fab work. You could put almost any motor in the civic if you had an almost unlimited budget. It just would be a very poor return for the money invested, that's all.

The F20 is an incredible motor for the S2000. It is light, small, and rev happy. There are just better motors out there to put in a civ (K).

it is slightly shorter than the f20B, i seem to think it was somethign liek 30mm or so

edit: just checked it IS 30mm shorter than the F20B

i hate it when civic owners put s2k clusters, seats and rims on their POS,

"hey i can't afford real parts so ima get the next best thing s2k seats"
