The "what" is that the valve obviously broke. But the "why" I don't have any clue to. Valves are not supposed to just break for no reason. Especially in an engine like this. But it looks like that's exactly what happened.
I would think Honda did their basic calculations though...
I don't know. I don't know what else I'm supposed to do to find out why it happened...

Just an update....the car ended up sitting, not driven since this has happened for 99% of the time. Seems like every time I tried to drive it, something else broke. Stupid ****, like a mount or some screw or something, and I had a hard time getting replacements considering the situation I was in.
Anyway, I ended up selling it for about 50% it's worth as I couldn't deal with it anymore. Came to find out that the transmission grenaded about 200 miles after I sold it. Guy had to replace it. This officially means that the ENTIRE drive train in this car has failed, minus the drive shafts.
I loved the car when it treated me well, but seriously....wtf.
