Re: s2000 1/4 mile times? (Stag 2000)
as high as 15.3 (spinning like mad mate) and as low as 13.98@98.5mph. The 13.98 was at Maple Grove on a August Night so it was still pretty warm out.
I got a best of 14.4 on a 90F+ day at Beaver Springs which is also in pennsyvlania.
Car was all stock on both, but I did remove the spare tire and jack.

Arguing with yourself:
You need medication.
And it does make sense, just horrible grammar.

S2k's only run 14-14.5??? Are you Sure? I thought they where a lot faster
Yeah, they're ALL wrong.
S2000's run LOW 13's bone stock, you can take a Supra in one, try it, really.
[/thick sarcasm]
14's are fast for a bone stock Honda.

my buddy ran a 13.7 with the titanium hks hyper system and the spoon cf cai thing and fuel presure regulator and he's a good driver but it was also in the summer so he could probly do better in cold weather with some drag radials or slicks

just to clarify I didn't sidestep the clutch at 6K, I didn't have the heart
it just seemed wrong to launch that car like that
it has a low 14 in it no problem stock, if you can drive it
like he said we had the spare in, I had him in the passenger seat and also I had a car cover in the trunk.
just my .02

13.2@110MPH with 90+ degree temp at the track. Stock clutch. Stock tires. The clutch was slipping and the car was not getting traction.
I have Vortech (stock 6psi) and Invidia exhaust

uh oh, didnt this turn into a 12+ page long discussion at one time? so how easy would it be for an s to do say a 13-13.3 with a GOOD driver (not the best but good) and average conditions, say 80 degrees? i know the guy with the vortech said he got a 13.2, but ive also heard of cars with the same setups getting 13.9's?
EDIT: whoops my bad it was a 29 page thread

Uh yeah, you were also running an open header with a fully stripped interior. Plenty of people have trapped over 100mph. http://www.s2ki.com

No I wasn't. I did that with the stock exhaust hooked up and my passenger seat in. I also had my CRV rims on which weigh in at 22lbs a piece (7lbs heavier than the stock rims).
Besides this post is REALLY old. I'm a member at S2ki and most guys don't trap 100mph.

For some reason I don't remember you trapping over 100MPH with just i/h and with a passenger. Sounds a little bogus if you ask me. You were only running 14.7's around 96 with just an intake if I remember correctly.

LOL you must have had me mistaken with some of the Celica guys. I ran a 14.0@99mph with just my intake, however that was running open header. I also did that back when I was still learning the car, had a crappy 2.3 60' on that run, and it was almost 80 degrees.
I didn't say I had a passenger in the car. I said the passenger seat. As in I WASN'T stripped. Seats and interior trim were all in place, on top of that I was running on WAY heavier than stock rims.
Come on Cameron what are you trying to pull? You know my car and are fully aware what it is capable of. It's not like half the guys in Auburn haven't seen it run 13 second passes.
Don't be mad that very lightly modded R runs faster times than most S2000's.
