radio code lol
so i screwed up and disconnected the power to my car, and my cd player, and it shut itself down. i dont know my code to enter to get my cd player working again, where do i find it? who can i call to get it? thanks in advance
check in your manual.... or in that little blue thingie you got with your manual.... you should either have a couple of sheets that have the number stuffed in the book somehwere or it should be written in the book.... if not... i think you have to go to honda....

i checked EVERYTHING in my car, every fuse box, every nook and cranny, its just not there. i called the dealer and i have to go in friday and pay 40 dollars for them to take my CD player out, get the number on it, call honda and get my code
take your radio out, copy the serial number, and call your dealership...DONT let them charge you...if they try to charge you, call a different dealer...
i took my radio out in about 5 minutes and called my dealer and she told me the code right away...

it's tricky if you haven't done it before. You can break the trim pieces. Try another honda dealer in your area that is willing to help.
As for the sticker under the fuse box, every dealer is different and when they do a PDI, one will be detailed and actually do that while others will leave the sticker in with card and owner's manuel.

removing the radio isn't that hard. it's also easy to remove the radio door without breaking it. save money and do it yourself.
