Searched the archives, trying to figure out, Does the check engine light say check engine or does it say matinence Req. Thanks My s2000 has the matinence req light on and trying to figure out if it needs a tune up or if theres a problem.

 

if the maintenance req light is on that means it needs a service and to be reset.

lol...does it say "Maintenance Required" or is it the "Check Engine" light...might benefit you to pick up your owners manual.

Actually it does need to be reset, but not nessacarily serviced. The Maintence required light comes on every I think 7500 miles no matter what as a reminder.
