PULLS TO THE LEFT AND BACK WHEN THROTTLE. HELP!!!
i have another tread about how the car shakes when u reach 70 or above, it would shake for a couple secs and go back to normal for a couple secs, then shakes for a couple secs and go back to normal, the faster u drive the faster in shakes, or vibrates. could that be the differential
I don't think that the alignment is out of the question. I would like to lower my S before I go on vacation next weekend, but no way will I have time to squeeze that in before the trip with work and everything else.
All it takes is to have slightly more drag/resistance on one of the wheels to do what he is describing. Just as having too little air pressure in one of the tires will cause this, so could one of the tires not rolling in the correct direction/angle.
I've got a slow leak in my right/rear tire but I'm about to switch to a new set of wheels so I'm lazy and every time I feel what you describe it means that it has gotten much lower and I fill it back up. These cars are extremely sensitive suspension-wise. Make sure you goto a Honda dealer for the alignment, or at least a shop that has a real clue about the care. i.e. NOT your average tire shop!!

happens a lot if there isnt matching PSI in the tires...or if 1 tire is worn more than the other (different diameters) Or alignment issues maybe.

i put some tires from my parents van and the car is fine now, so i guess its the used tires, ill be getting some new tires. now the car shakes when i go 70mph or over, it shakes for a couple seconds and stops for a seconds then again and again, bolts tight on wheels, i did put in the shaft spacers. it does it with them on and off, but i only noticed it doing that after i touched the shafts and the bolts.
checked that everything (bolts, axles, everything under the car) was tightened correctly
alignment done
4 new tires done
(car IS lowered btw)
When i step on the gas, especially at high speeds, my 03 with 20k miles also veers to the left and when i let off, it goes back into place. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING for the S is my DD.
What else can it possibly be? one of my axles? my differential?

if you're not hearing horrible sounds coming out of the rear diff i'd rule out anything being bad there - been said a couple times earlier in this post to blame low tire pressure (or unequal tire pressure) or bad alignment - and i would have to agree. if you're tire pressure is fine and you're not hearing anything odd from the rear of the car, then check the alignment.
when you're accelerating the suspension geometry changes with the weight shifting from the front of the vehicle to the rear of the vehicle - much more evident in motorcycles - but kinda works the same way in a car. so as the car squats in the back under acceleration (which you might not notice depending on how stiff your suspension is - but it's happening whether you like it or not) if you're alignment isn't spot on you're gonna notice it. have it checked somewhere other than where you had it done before and ask to see a printout of where everything is set when they're done.
it could be the tires still..
swap the left rear with the right rear and see if the car goes the other way.
I have had to return brand new tires for this, and saw it happen several times when i used to work at a tire shop.

Mine caused that cause i lowered my S and gotten an alignment and its fine now sometimes it leans to left or right depending on the road lol
a different shot, but might be worth a look.
mine did the same thing right after i had some new tires installed. i was like WTF!!!! pulled over on the highway and got out and looked (thought my lugs were loose or something). turns out, they mounted one of my front tires on one of my rear wheels, so the difference in rolling diameter was really jacking with it.
but yeah, i'd do the following:
check for tire size discrepancy
check tire pressure (oddball amounts of air can REALLY throw off your alignment)
check alignment

checked my tire pressure, it was a little off.
now it feels better but still a little pull.
im taking the car sometime this week to get the rear tire check i think i may have a leak. still covered by warranty so i should be good.
thanks for the help dudes.

whenever you lower your car you should adjust camber and alignment
I have lifetime alignment contract so I take it until it's just right, they know I have free alignment so they did it right
The car is straight as an arrow now best alignment I've ever had.
