yes, and the AABAUW was quite functional at one time. It is adjustable by a switch in the center console and was designed to be very similar to the Chapparel wing. However, it is only 18" and not 24" deep, IIRC.
The AABAUW has been retired. It became more of a parachute over time.

True. Granted how ugly it does make the car look, it is functional.
I want the front teeth for my bumper!

I dont give a **** how fast or functional that car is...that wing is rediculous. I could slap a pack of hotdogs on my *** with tape and say that it helps with buffering my skin when i sit down, therefore its functional...but i mean...damn.

Just hope one doesn't get misplaced LOL
You made me laugh.

Hey man...insertion is a risk, but maybe AEM will make a block off valve or something to prevent hot dog insertion if i accidently sit in a puddle of water or something...lol.
What's not understood is how funny it is that the hideous monster, driven by the right man (Doug Hayashi), can catch and pass very built track cars.
It's one thing to see a lowly 4-banger S2000 behind your Porschuh GT bi-turbo 999 and then get passed by one, and it's totally another thing to get passed by one with teeth.
The teeth give the car the effect on the track. You have to meet and know Doug to see where he's coming from. I've, luckily, had the chance to meet him close to 4 years ago now.
He's also authored the following (the pyramid of speed):

Regardless of how it's sugar coated, that **** is hideous. And it may just be my situation (though i doubt it) but i think the S2000 is a car that needs to retain its cosmetic superiority to other roadsters on the market, its small but sleek...aggresive but sexy...it really just kills me to see such a monsterous hunk of metal hanging off the back of it...but thats his car, and if thats what he/she wanted, thats all that matters...from an opinionated online web message board standpoint though, its ugly as ****.
Function and form go hand in hand...im sure we could have the perfect cars for motorsport purposes, but if we were to build them perfectly, they'd probobly be but *** ugly, so we take the cars as they are and make them fast (or try to) but for people like me, when it gets to a point where it ruins how the car looks, i jump ship.
