S2000 HID projectors are some of the best out there, better than Audi and BMW IMHO.
And BTW USDM S2000's come standard w/ HID. JDM S2000's come with halogen projectors and no orange insert standard (not even sure if you can get HID on the JDM cars).

first thought: don't know where you live, but hid equipped cars are pretty damn common nowadays and driving at night in the s2000 is a non-issue. and them drivers aren't getting annoyed cuz the lights are aimed too high.. it's the blinking effect that's making them think we're high beaming them... maybe it's your driving in your yellow pimpmobile?
second thought: the auto leveling feature in them bimmas and audis do not adjust by nanosecond intervals to accomodate for any bobbing up and down that a car does when driving on roads both bumpy and smooth in order to avoid blinging the schmidt out of oncoming drivers. all it does is when you have fat asses in the back seat, it levels down a bit so it's not pointing any higher than when you don't have fat asses in the back seat. nothing fancy there. and given that the s2000 doesn't have back seats and most people don't carry a load of crap in the trunk (you really can't since it's so small), no need to hike up the price of the car for a feature that does not apply.
the reason why the s2000's bling effect is more annoying is that fact that we're riding on a stiff *** suspension and the projector lens itself is unlike any other (at least that i know of).
-philips lens (not diffused / bmw uses hella, audi valeo projectors both diffused for US use / i've also noticed porsche litronics use diffused lenses in the US as well.)
-big *** mitsubishi ballasts
-whatever else they decided to do with it

can you show us official bmw/audi literature that confirms what you've just posted? that it actually adjusts that quickly to accomodate for hills and crests, but not regular undulations in roads? would be appreciated.
regardless of whether it does or not, the HIDs on bmws and audis on hills/crests are just as blinding as any other projector based headlights out there including the s2000's.
