Default Nissan 240 diff

Anyone have any experience with these diffs on the S??...

i was thinking about getting one, mainly due to the fact the stock one isn't great..

just want to know if its a hassle or not

Not really a hassle as long as you are mechanically inclined. InlinePro makes a kit that is completely bolt in and is a pretty straight foward install. I personally do not have one installed but if (when) my rear goes I am definetly going with that setup.

comptech diff will hold up just fine for that and be mucho cheaper. IIRC you have to change your half shafts or driveshaft in addition...can't quite remember which exactly.

I wasn't sure that the Comptech diff really was that tough! You are correct on the halfshaft and driveshaft, you have to replace both. They are included in the InlinePro kit.
