yeah seriously, look at all that surface area waiting to absorb all that engine heat and plus the position of the filter is in a bad spot.

Re: (Black S2K)
Right...it's not JDM, that's obvious. I will say that it runs like a mad man compared to when it was breather air from the radiator though.
How about if I wrap it with DEI Header Wrap material? Or better yet, actual carbon fiber?
...and what do you mean my AIR COMPRESSOR is not hooked up?

ok...while its not forced by boost, it is a form of ram air being that higher than static air pressure that cannot pass through the radiator is directed to the opening to the filter that I made.

hmm, looks like they took the basic design/idea behind the J's Racing intake from the eg/ek/dc but just made it as big as they possibly could to fill up that empty space in the s2k engine bay. i could care less how it looks if it performs though. in for dyno #s

Looks like it should effciently suck in hot air from the exhaust manifold and radiator..... LOL.
I guess this is what happens when they stop making copies of other peoples intakes? Was their any engineering data used for this shape and location of filter with no heat sheilding from 2 major head sources?

Re: (S2KILLA)
That looks absolutely horrendous, and from a fluid flow perspective seems like a horrible design.
If it actually makes power, I'd be suprised.
PasswordJDM should stick to copying ****, not that I'd buy it anyways.

Look guys... Quit calling it JDM. That is NOT Japanese Domestic Market. It's USDM. Password is in the states. Hell, 1/2 the stuff on Password's site is USDM or CFM (Chinese Foreign Market)...

Re: (Teknoshaman)
i think the design is a idea...looks like they are trying to have it chambered while keeping the bend @ the widest part parralel to the throttle body....just looks a bit "awkward"... wonder if you could use a mushroom type filter instead ( i dont see why not ) like a greddy or hks...
