Default Is my fuel sender/float stuck?

3 days ago, I had 1 fuel bar on my fuel gauge remaining, I put in 2.5 gallons. When i started the car the gauge didnt change. Then about 30 mins later, it jumped up 2 more bars where it SHOULD be. Then today, I filled up with 3/4full tank, once it was full, the gauge cluster still read 3/4 tank. Is my float stuck or what>?

2003. It just happened today. After I stood in the trunk and bounced around, the cluster read FULL, like it should

i had the same problem a few months back. I filled the tank up and went to start the car but nothing showed up, so I went back into the store and asked if they were out of 93. lol
after a few tries all the bars showed up.
