Re: My 03 GPW S2000 Build
Last big update before tune!
Got the dump tube and valve cover taken care of.
Finished up the valve cover powdercoat, and got everything else buttoned down. I went to run my catch can lines from the valve cover, only to find out that the catch can I was told was -10 looks to be at least -12.
Needed a list minute solution as I am headed to see Jeff Evans in 4 hours, so I looped the 2 bungs together and am venting through the stock vents until I can purchase a new catch can with the proper fittings.
Everything bolted up and 100% ( minus the heat wrapping I just finished)
x
The Rig:
Ramp ready:
Loaded and strapped.
Leaving Rochester NY for PA @ 4am to make my 10am apt.
Much more to come....after some sleep.
We're here!!!!!
Pulls/vids to come!

Re: My 03 GPW S2000 Build
Just got the car loaded back up and am headed back to NY.
Car made 462whp and just under 300 Tq @14 psi , I told Jeff I wanted the car as reliable as possible so we backed the timing off and left with 450/280.
The horsepower stopped picking up as we were increasing the boost, the t1r 70em duals I have are restricting the setup on higher boost lvls. The mufflers, while super quiet, are also super restrictive, Jeff said there should be a good 40-50whp to be gained from going to a straight through style muffler.
Overall, the car feels great, and has plenty more left in it. Drives like stock, and pulls like an animal from 6 on, everything I wanted!
Graph for the fiends.
This is the last pull of the day with some timing pulled out for good measure.

Re: My 03 GPW S2000 Build
Have been able to take the car out for a few pulls.
The Lag on the highway isn't bad at all. The car doesn't break traction and pulls like an absolute freight train to redline.
Going to play with some vettes this week More vids to come

Re: My 03 GPW S2000 Build
I will be cleaning things up in the bay throughout the summer, and will be ditching the T1R 70EM duals I have for something a bit more free flowing as soon as I can find someone willing to pay what it is worth. I really love the exhaust, but its becoming too much of a restriction.

Thank you sir, not exactly sure what intake sound you are inquiring about.
The spool is pretty high pitched, take a listen to the dyno vid.
