California is strict with everything automobile related. They set the bar for the rules and regulations for the automotive industry.

hmm - 65k's, so about 40 of your american miles
did you ever replace the TCT before?
No - due you reckon?
check your oil level, if you can put in like a half a quart of fresh oil and see if the noise stops for a minute or 2...
Checked the oil a couple of months ago, so yeah, i'll give that a try
also does it chatter on start up???
No - only when the revs dip below the 900/1000 mark

its prolly still in the early stages of the TCT going on you... try to drive along a concrete barrier/median with the window down and see if you can hear the same noise echoing off of the barrier...
and im gonna put $100 on it that it is your TCT... good news is that you can do the job in about 20-30 mins with basic hand tools... and it only costs around $125 US...

25$ fix-it ticket (used to be 10$)..
oh and car's still at the shop, need to find time to get it back. found a nifty trick to mount the front plate. hopefully the amuse bumper plays nice. (mounting the plate to the rad support)

Thanks Killa - i'm doubting the TCT a little, but not enough to take your $100.
Hopefully get a bit of time this weekend to have a looksee.

Re: I'm sorry mods... I think we need a rambling thread.
yes yes it wont work regardless when something seizes up completely. u would think honda of all manufacturers after years and years would think to lubricate the hardware they use on the suspension considering its all metal on metal contact. then ud think any person tinkering with there car would do the same. but no. any one with late modle import/domestic that fuked around with the suspension enough will stress how important it is to lube everything up so things dont seize up later.
**** is fuking annoying when things go wrong that u cant help but could have been prevented if someone else cared more
