well since there's nothing else that needs my immediate attention, packing up the scored short blocks and sending them back to the seller. douchebag sent me a scored block as a perfect block...

it was only after realizing how to calculate girth that I realized that I calculated wrong. girth is only 37-40" approximately for the box but it fit nicely.

ok so check this out, while at the pet store i was putting our daughter into her seat and my girl go "LOOOOOK" i tuen around and i see a suzuka AP2 with oem hardtop of course im like "nice!" and say "man i love those cars" she goes " gees go marry one" and then i told her how i could get salvaged/auction S2's for like 5-8K and shes like "sell the AE86 and get the S2000 duhhhhhh" and boy oh boy i had a big oh smile LOL

its a possibility, but I'd rather sell the car in its entirety, since i have no time to take the car apart. plus, I would need a new bulkhead & plastics so i could take the rollbar out and make it as stock as possible

We were discussing tires and the topic of RFT's came up and we noted that their sidewalls are much much harder than the average tire. Were yours RFT's by chance? if so, the added isolated pressure/stress on the wheel would have been my bet to crack the powdercoated rim. If they weren't RFT's, what tires were they? check if their sidewalls are notably stiffer.
I would say that based on that alone, that the wheel was very likely weakened because OEM alloy wheels don't usually crack that way. That's just the simulation in my head though and how I would imagine the cookie crumbled.
