Alright, back again with another question that my wife came up with. If the s2000 has a push button start, is it used in conjunction with a key, or what? How do you shut off the engine?

yes it is used with a key...
to start.... you put the key in.. turn it to the on position, push down the clutch and push the button.... the car will not start unless you do this....
to shut the car off... just turn the key to the off position and take the key out...
