what is his budget?

The header on the car is already good. Here is what I would do (in order)

1) CAI
2) Exhaust and test pipe (preferably single)
3) 4.57 Gears
4) AEM EMS (if it is over his budget, then VAFC-II)
5) Header

These parts will probably cost him a little over $2000. He can also get a used SC kit for $3000 which would be the best thing to do

he's gonna gain an extremely extremely small "peck". he can buy a used great condition reliable supercharger with that. but hey he can waste his money if he wants.

That parts list can hit over 5k easily. Just a rough estimate:

CAI - 200 for AEM or 1300 for J's
Exhaust/test pipe - 1000+
Gears - 600-1000 installed
AEM EMS + tuning - 1500+
Header - 1000+

Here is what I would do. Costs $3000 with installation

Comptech Ice Box $350
Spugen Single $500
Test Pipe $100
Megan Header $350
VAFC-II $250
Install and Dyno $400

4.57 Gears $1000 installed

TOTAL: $3000

With all these, the car will easily hit 13.3-13.4 on the track with a good launch

stock internal with plug and play piggy back, what do you expect.

if you going to go all out, sideway did make 234odd hp, per liter

with the N/A mod, you are only moving the powerband up top, or something else, stock part are so effiecent in the first place. well, good luck and have fun with it

I say scrap all that and get gears since i saw that the budget is 2500. Just get 4.57 or 4.77. Best bang for the buck out of any mod for the S. With the money left over, get the CAI intake, than the single exhaust system.

It depends on your friends budget. For an exhaust with proven gains and that sounds great, i would recommend the j's racing 60rs

with the price of I/H/E, youd net more with a EMS and a tune.
