The s2000 was not designed to win any drag races, but stock it will wax nearly anything at an auto-x. My advice to you is to focus on the suspension. I was hell bent on making power when I first got my S, but realized forwhat you will spend on 15whp, you can have an unbelievably well handling car.

I am running-

PRM Intake
Whiteline STB
Neuspeed X-brace
Espelir Springs

Goodluck.

what are you upgrading power for? stop light racing or competition such as timetrials/autox/wheel to wheel? The biggest bang for buck power adder to this car is a supercharger, easiest and cheapest.

dollar to hp ratio - the SC is the only way to go. anything else is just ... nothing. you can spend thousands of dollars mis-tuning this car or you can drop 5K and do it once right.

btw, watch the diff - your upgrade dollars will soon go to replacing the diff.

Although there are people tracking with the SC off the bat, I don't prefer to go that route. I see the SC as a power adder that best suites those that daily drive the car or do stop light racing or are concerned for the hp per dollar invested. I wouldn't go as far as saying that any other route other than the SC is the wrong direction.

Would you really want to mill the head, even if it's a small amount? Wouldn't the thinner headgasket be a more practical option to help increase the compression slightly? All the other mods you listed sound tasty. I was checking out header and exhaust systems for the S2k on http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com That **** is bling..
