Default ES Oval on a S2K

Will this work? I'm thinking of buying 2 ovals are replacement for my stock exhaust and then weld the tip. I just want some good sound but dont have the funds right now for a pricey exhaust.

If you're going to use stock piping, you need a 2" inlet muffler unless you want to weld in some 2"-2.5" expanders.

would you guys recommend doing the ES oval stock piping route or just save money on a cat back for $600 and up?

depends, if all you want is more noise then es oval is great, consider you a str8 thru replaceing a twin loop muffler.

600+? what kind of catback you have in mind?

invidia titanium tip is $580. so far its the cheapest i found. i guess i'm just more concerned about the sound rather than HP gains

two es mufflers in 2.25 on the stock piping should be nice sounding and you might see small gains as you are going from a baffled muffler to a straight throught design.

like everyone else said it would work fine...

people have been replacing the stock mufflers with the "shinier" magnaflows without any problems...try adding a TP and it will probably sound nicer
