Audio Setup
Ok so if you want more than just 2 speakers and 2 tweeters in your S, you have some options.
1.) get the s pods and work with that
2.) buy/ make the speaker mounts that fit a 6.5 and a tweeter behind the seat.
3.) steal/"aquire" the 06-07 speaker mounts that are located on both sides of the things that save your head from getting crushed if you roll the car... i forget what they are called and its driving me nuts.
so i have a few questions for anyone that has done a setup like this, or owns a 06-07.
what size speakers are located in the s pods? 06-07?
i have narrowed it down to two choises for the speakers i am going to use.
Alpine Component Type R's, which i already have in my integra and are amazing, or Infinity Perfect Series Components, which i have never heard, but i hear they are amazing.
the type r's are being pushed by a refrence series amp that does 646 watts max on a 4 channel, and i hear that even though it is the most powerful infinity speaker amp...it is not enough to get the full potencial of the Perfects, so i need help there.
anyone care to share their setup with me, or give me some ideas on how to pursue the multi speaker?
pics would be sexual, and ideas on how to set up subs in the trunk would be most apriciated.
anysite that sells custom sub enclosers for the s would help as well, im thinking about doing 2 10's, 1 on each side.

what?
what?
I have Infinity Perfect components on the stock deck, and they sound great. I pushed it with a Hifonics 85 x 4 amp on my previous car, and there was not much difference in quality, only in clarity at high volume.
The biggest speaker I've managed to fit in that panel behind the seats are 5.25"; 6.5" will not fit.

Not sure there's a need for extra speakers as I think is a waste of $ and more **** in the car I say...
I have/had
a alpine headunit with jl audio 3 way door speakers with a 100watt amp pushing 1 12" audiobahm class d sub in a custom enclose fitted into the tool/jack well.
Mine hits and sounds clear....

i think there is definetly a need for an extra speaker behind the driver and passenger...just dont know if a tweeter and midrange is overdoing it or just right
in response to the "what?"
pics would be sexual = having/seeing pictures of any of the setups i was refering to would most helpful and awesome.
