i see your point totally, but let be real here displacment gets the job done. torque is what moves the masses....</TD></TR></TABLE>

Torque gets you moving but Horsepower keeps you moving......

you are not very smart.
with rising Rpm Hp will almost consistantly rise but there is a time where the R/S ratio will start efecting how efficient over reving like that really is, in the end you are just prematurely destroying your motor

That's a pretty pessimistic way to look at it.. Regardless you're are prematurely destroying your motor genius! If you go k24 or if you go high rpm 2.0. The reason that you get a 3.5 litre increase by stroking an engine is because you're adding speed to the pistons. You think an engine with a 99mm stroke is going to have similar piston speeds as an engine with an 84.5mm stroke in a similar rpm range? Definately not. So either way you're wearing your cylinder walls faster than you would stock. Now do you want more low end efficiency or more low end torque?

Hahhahahaha I'd be stirring up some guts regardless if it's 8 or 9.

Stirring guts, rearranging internal organs, ironing out the wrinkles... damn I'm bored.
