Default why?

anyone have any idea why im ideling so damn low. ive searched and searched and posted with this same problem and no luck. ive listened to ideas and now i have a new throttle body gasket, new intake manifold gasket(am using a skunk 2 manifold), new iac, new fitv, new pcv, and new filter for inake jus cuz it was dirty. tried two different ecu's. p13 with obd 2 to obd 1 conversion harness. and the p5p that came with the SH motor wich i swaped for jdm. idles at 250. with the p5p when i turn a.c. on idle drops and stays low. when i use the p13 it drops then raises to bout 450 500ish. oh and the idle on cold start is fine but when i reach operating temperatures it drops to the above stated level. please guys any help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

when did i say idle bounce? i read this thread before and ya i listened then jus incase i replaced both valves with brand new ones like i said. i guess i explained it wrong. this is not an idle bounce at all. as the car warms up the idle continues to drop down lower and lower.

Try adjusting the throttle cable, idle screw and the valve lash and see if that helps.

No problem, the idle screw is on the throttle body and it raises/lowers the idle regardless of the IACV...it's right on top of the TB, and it might have a layer of wax if it's never been touched, but you can remove that.

Valave lash is what's adjusted when you do a valve adjustment. It can get out of spec and cause idle/performance issues. It's a bit complicated to do if you haven't done it before, but there's many write-ups and such online. One in the Prelude FAQs even
