Gotta luv motor issues. Have you done anything new to the motor prior to having this problem?

What's the setup? What car, engine, ECU, additional electronics, etc etc etc....

Have you done maintenance recently and then this started to happen or has it always been happening?

What have you done in an effort to solve this problem? Have you tried cleaning the IACV? Have you messed with either the idle air bypass screw or the throttle plate stop screw?

check your iacv unplug it if it doesnt make a difference try to get a new one. if it just fluctuates between 700 and 1200-1300 just ake the throttle body off and spray throttlebody cleaner in everyport in the intake manifold get a new gasket put and clean the throttlebody.

i dont even run a throttlebody gasket but i guess its good to have one. but if you have the problem where you lightly touch the gas pedal and it sounds like you have a governer at 1500 you need a new one

the whole story is here
http://www.homemadeturbo.com/f...205.0

but basically i did a mini-me

i have a 98 lx automatic and slaped on a Z6 head with plenum manifold, the whole problem started when i tryed to do the 3 to 2 wire iacv fix, but then realized that it only works with ecu that already have v-tec (p28)

i still have the P2E so then after realizing this, i put all the wires back to the original locations and i replaced the throttle body from the Z6 mani, with my original throtle body with the IACV on it, and blocked off the IACV oles on the Z6 manifold

so now im using the original 3 wire setup andim stil getting a CEL code 14
i dont know what to do???

Sounds like a mess...

I'd just get a Z6 throttle body and put the 2-wire IACV back in place. Graft over the 2-wire connector onto the 3-wire harness. Move the needed pins at the ECU. Use a P28.
