who owns a VAFC?
For all you Apexi VAFC owners. can you post your initial settings. I am NOT asking for the a/f % or ratios!!!!! I just want the settings that will make the car run as if it is stock!
I just recently reset my VAFC, so I changed the Sensor type to "06 06", and car type is 4 cyl, with the arrow pointing to the upper right corner. My VTEC engagment and disengagment were set to 5200rpm and 4800rpm respectivly. Now the Low and Hi throttle are set to 10% and 50%, I was told it should be 33% and 50% (for low and hi) in a previous thread and from the posts I have searched and read.
When I reset my VAFC, I did not change the throttle points, so I got a CEL Code 45 which is "Running too rich or too low". After some research, I was told to set the low throttle to 33% and hi to 55%, so I did and CEL was gone and I thought I solved the problem.
But now the same CEL code pops up (code 45). So for VAFC owners, what is the low and hi throttle settings for preludes? is there any additional settings I need to change initialy? I will dyno the car this summer to set the A/F ratios but I just want to run the car properly right now as if it were to be stock! If somone can post the settings that would simulate stock ratios and settings. Maybe I should increase the low throttle? What happens between the gap between LOW and HI throttle since they are 33% and 50%, what happens between 34% and 49%?
