ok well heres the thing...i have a 94 prelude si and in just starts when it wants. like when its hot out side it doesnt start at all, but when its cold or rainy it starts fine. sometimes right when it starts i have to hit the gas to keep it running or it will just die. im thinking fuel main relay because the engine just doesnt seem like its gettin gas..and i have had electrical problems in the past. any ideas other than that?

when it fails to start, does it click? i'd change the main relay out first

 

no, it doesnt click...it wants to start it just seems like its not gettin the gas to fire.

I would say main relay. pull it out solder it put it back in simple.

an easy way to see if its your main relay. is when its not starting turn your key to the on position the check engine light should go on for 2 secs then turn off. if it doesnt turn off its your main relay. so if it stays on hit the dash and see if the light blinks at all if it does main relay.

You might also look into the ignitor if it's not the main relay.
