MSD or Crane
which one of these systems would be better for a turbocharged prelude? I was considering the MSD 6AL or SCI, or the Crane Fireball Hi-6. Thanks for any info.

Re: MSD or Crane (GudeH23a)
do you have any pros and cons on either system. On the crane site, they say they are better, but that's their site... i'm a little worried about the lack of support they have too... there doesn't seem like there's too much content on their site, like MSD has.
What model you got a BTM from what?

crane is a little better for honda's, msd is usually geared towards 8cyl's. im sure someone is going to post that msd is better then crane for the sake of arguement but either system will work fine. i have the btm from the hi6tr setup

I've found MSD to be more reliable, I've had one Crane HI-6 and two PS92 coils die on me all while driving. I now use the MSD Digital 6 plus and it's pretty bad ***, plus it has a two-stage rev limiter built in. Just my 2 cents.

Re: MSD or Crane (GudeH23a)
I've seen both fail...so.....
But, I have a 6AL with an HVC for 2 years now with no probs....
I also, have a friend that has been running his Crane for his ITR with no probs either.
Both are good systems. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
