I have a motor that has the h23 block with an h22 crank. it has the h23 rods and pistons and h22 vtec head manifold ect... isnt the block the same as the h22 block? any ideas about estimated hp or torque with this set up? everything is stock parts, no upgreades i mean.

 

i well i would say your hp would be lower (using h23 pistons) due to the lower compression rating.

 

You have a 2.2l low compression engine. nothing fancy, just guessing but you might get about 150hp to the wheels, depending on header/exhaust.

 

ok, if i switch cranks to a h23 crank, what amout of hp might i gain?

 

1 millon Hp
