The red limiter is just one small group of a secret society known as the "Rice *****"!

Their intent is to control the amount of "appearence" modifications to all imported cars.

Simply known as "The Reds", this dedicated assembly of do-gooders combs the highways and biways of America searching for Honda and Acura automobiles with too many red factory logos.

Code #5346-
Hence forth it shall be known that the maximum number of red Honda and Acura logos for said automobiles shall be limited to 2. If any such vehicle is found with more than 2 red logos, they will be immediately fined a sum of $20 per logo beyond said limit and given 2 weeks to comply with the code. After such time they will be forced to enter a twelve step program for rice addicts if they do not comply.

NO RICE FOR YOU!!!

I hope that helps.

I thought it was "variable valve timing with electronic lift and control" and as far as hittin the "red limiter" i wouldnt know, my car hits the "rev limiter".

in the h22a1 its vtech at 5200-5400 (although i swear mine is at 5200) and the rev limit is around 7600-7800.

Sorry, hope i learned yo *** sumpin'!

The stock tack is not very good, it might look like 8K but it's not. You need to tap into the VSS signal going to the ECU to get the true RPM. Also the X-over looks like it's somewere from 5K to 5.2K but it's really 4.8K if your looking at the true VSS signal at the ECU.
