Vtec messing up
Ok...This is a wierd problem...Not all the time but sometimes when ever i let vtec kick in my car will just shut off....and if i'm rolling and pop out on the clutch the car will still run but when i give it gas it bogs down and wont go n e where... Everytime it's done this i have jiggled the vtec soliniod and the wires and it will start...What is the problem?
any cel's?
even if the ecu loses signal from the vtec solenoid it should cause the car to stall, vtec would just disengage.
Redo all the connections at the vtec solenoid, something must be loose. But i think you have a bigger issue than just the vtec solenoid because of the stalling, bogging etc.

Like what kind of bigger issues do u think it could be? I did a swap in my accord...i put an h22a in it... how is the vtec engaged? By oil pressure? or what?</TD></TR></TABLE>
How did you wire up the vtec?
Vtec has a few different parameters that allow it to come on - i don't feel like listing them right now - because i don't think that they will help you at all.
BUT, make sure the solenoid "screen" is clean and just make sure your connections are correct. give us a list of the ecu pins you connected vtec to.
