Vtec cel code 22
93 accord ex H22a type s lsd
No vtec at all
cel code 22
went to the honda dealer and purchased a brand new
vtec pressure switch and vtec soleniod
changed the oil and oil filter and the levels are fine
still no go so i checked the ecu wires and pin outs
- Vtec solenoid: Pin A4
- Vtec pressure switch: Pin D6
- Knock sensor: Pin D3
and ran new wires still cel code 22
picked up my friends ecu to test and the same problem.
so i pulled of the vtec pressure switch off
and it barley has any oil on it.
no matter how hard i drive the car the
vtec will not come on and why does
the fans never come on and there plugged
up could it be the car is cold which i doubt
and if so how can i fix it.

well u say your fan does not come on. the coolant temp sensor may be going bad. that would keep vtec from coming on. also i had the same problem. i went threw replacing everything. well my oil pan was bent alittle. it was pushed up to the oil pick up. there was enough oil pressure to keep the oil light off but not enough to engage vtec.

thanx man but the oil filter is brand new i will check pressure
and if low ill purchase
This modified oil pump flows higher volume and produces higher pressure than stock replacements. Generates 10 psi per 1,000 rpm.
what you think

the sensor is fine but i think i need a oil pump vtec wont work brought
a new vtec pressure switch and solenoid all the wires are fine tested
with a multi meter that was great so i guess its that cause the oil
light is off and on when iam in idle its blinking but when i drive its
off.
some one told me there was a way to shim the pump so i can get
more oil thru and more pressure than the stock oil pump have you
ever heard of that
