VSS problem help
Yesterday when I was going to work I noticed my speedometer was going crazy, today it seemed it got a little worse, now if I let go of the gas and let the car cruise, the speedometer would be dead at 0, but as soon as I start to accelerate the speedometer jumps around. Car
Is a 1994 Si Automatic, I disconnected the VSS and the speedometer was at 0 and it didn't move at all, no d4 flashing or cel when the connector is in. there was coolant around the connector cause I think there's a leak on the little hose above it so idk if possibly coolant got inside the connector and is shorting out maybe? I should clean it with electrical cleaner and see if it helps if not then any tips on replacing it ? It's held on by 2 10 mm bolts right? I noticed hoses were connected to it but idk if it's part of the VSS, thanks for all your input.

Yesterday D4 started flashing, today I took of the connector and there was coolant all over it and inside it, sprayed with electrical cleaner, let it air dry, repaired the hose and no more crazy speedo, tranny seems to shift a bit smoother also, we'll see if t holds up.
