Default Speedometer doesnt work!!!!

So basically whenever I drive everything works except my speedometer. Sometimes it works up until 65mph then it starts bouncing all over. And now like today....It didnt work at all. I was driving and it stayed at 0 the whole time. I drove it slowly until I was on the road by myself then I punched it up to around 50mph and then it started bouncing all over again and i let go of the gas and it started working again after dropping to like 40mph. Has this ever happened to anyone and how can I fix it?

Check to see if your vss in plugged in all the way and if you have a cel check it and see what it is. My speedo or nothing doesnt work due to something wrong with my tranny.

it's your speed sensor. It's located on top of the tranny next to the shift linkage. It has 2 hoses coming out, those are for the power steering fluid. It also has an electrical connector, make sure that is plugged in.
