So i bought a prelude with an h22a mb24 lsd and it has an apexi vafc gen 1 air fuel somethin controller
dont know what it does or how to use it the guy i bought it from said it was already tuned
Another guy said if you disconnect the battery you have to reset it
was it worth buying to do something?
any help would be appreciated thanks

It modifies your Air fuel ratio and can change the vtec engagement point.
I don't think disconnecting the battery means you have to reset it as it should have EEPROM(electronically erasable programming read only memory, i think) so basically the info is written using magnets like a harddrive of a computer, so the info stays on until writen over/reset.
worth buying depends on you mods. all cars run a little rich, so when it was tuned they probably took some fuel out at certain points in the RPM range. usually if you change something/add/remove a mod then you should have your car retuned on a dyno.
hope thishelps you get an understanding of this device.
